We will be waiting for you at the Cusco airport to transfer you to your selected hotel in the Sacred Valley. On the way, taking the road to Pisaq, we visit the Inkary Museum, which exhibits the history and culture of different civilizations of ancient Peru.
Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be assisted with check-in and accommodation.
We leave our hotel to visit the salt mines of Maras, where salt production is handmade by the locals, then we go to the mysterious constructions of terraces of Moray, a place that may have been for research and acclimatization of plants in Inca times.
Finally, before returning to our hotel in Urubamba, we head to visit Chinchero and its famous Inca textiles. During our journey we will be able to enjoy and observe snow-capped peaks of the Andes, lush green and yellow wheat fields depending on the time of the visit and passing through picturesque villages.
We leave the heart of the sacred valley "Urubamba", to go to the community of Chichubamba, which has a healthy climate, fertile land and is surrounded by green countryside.
Upon our arrival to the community, the villagers give us a warm welcome and we can start with the presentation and development of the activities:
Apiculture: We will learn about the process of care and breeding of bees; and the obtaining of honey.
Ceramics: We will observe the elaboration process of traditional pottery and colorful decoration with Andean iconographies.
Chocolate: We will see the artisanal preparation of chocolates, an exquisite ingredient that accompanies the preparation of different desserts.
Chicha de Jora: We will learn about the process of corn germination, we will also observe the preparation with the authentic recipe of the Sacred Valley and finally we will taste.
After the different activities, we will have our delicious lunch typical of the area made with Andean products. Then they will make a demonstration of their articles made by themselves, buying these items is the best support that can be provided.
Finally, we leave the community to go to visit the Living City Museum of Ollantaytambo and its archaeological complex. From there we go to the train station for a train ride to Aguas Calientes.
In the morning we go to the bus stop where we board one of the first buses to Machu Picchu (approx. 30 min. trip to Machu Picchu).
If we leave very early, we will have the possibility to appreciate the sunrise in Machu Picchu (highly recommended and according to weather conditions) and we will have a guided tour in the Inca citadel for approximately 2 hours and a half.
After the guided tour we will have free time in the Wonder to walk around on your own to take pictures and enjoy Machu Picchu to the fullest, then you will have to take the bus down to Aguas Calientes and have lunch.
Then we board the train back to the town of Ollantaytambo, from where we are picked up to transfer to Pisac.
We leave our hotel to visit the traditional market of Pisac and its archaeological park of the same name. Then we head to the Taray viewpoint, where we will have a spectacular view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. From there we continue to make a stop at the animal sanctuary of Ccochahuasi, where we will have the opportunity to observe a variety of Andean camelids such as the Llama and the Alpaca, in the place we can see the Puma and the Andean Condor, the most representative bird of the Andes.
From there we continue to visit the archaeological sites near Cusco, we will visit Tambomachay, Puka Pukara or red fortress, Qenqo and Sacsayhuaman, one of the magnificent constructions and finally we arrive to the city of Cusco.
Salimos de cusco para realizar el viaje de 2,5 horas hacia el poblado de Mollepata, donde vamos a disfrutar de nuestro desayuno típico de la zona.
Luego abordamos nuevamente nuestro transporte para continuar nuestro viaje por hermosos paisajes y quebradas hasta llegar a Soraypampa, lugar donde empieza nuestra caminata hacia la laguna Turquesa de Humantay.
Aquí tendremos suficiente tiempo para poder alistar nuestro equipo de trekking como, bastones, agua, mochilas personales, etc. o alquilar caballos.
Después comenzamos nuestra caminata hacia laguna Humantay, nuestro ascenso tiene una duración en promedio de 1,5 horas hasta llegar a nuestro destino.
Al llegar a esta hermosa laguna Pintoresca de Humantay, tendremos todo el tiempo necesario para poder disfrutar de la belleza natural que lo rodea y también llenarnos de la energía que posee esta hermosa montaña del nevado Salkantay.
Aquí nuestro guía nos expondrá la historia sobre la laguna sagrada, también va a realizar una demostración del uso de la hoja de coca y una pequeña ofrenda a nuestros Apus (Montañas) que nos permitieron llegar.
Luego de toda esta aventura hermosa tenemos que retornar por la misma ruta hacia nuestro transporte (Soraypampa). Posteriormente, nos dirigimos a Mollepata donde vamos a disfrutar de nuestro almuerzo y después retornamos a Cusco.

Pick up from your hotel to make the trip to Cusipata-Paucarpata. After 2 hours of travel we arrive to the place where we will enjoy our breakfast. Then we continue in our transport to the checkpoint, where we begin our hike along the trail. As we advance we will be able to appreciate spectacular landscapes, surrounded by mountains and we will also be able to observe South American Auquenidos.
After about 1.5 hours of trekking we arrive at the viewpoint of the mountain, at 5020 m/16.466 ft. And we will see the Rainbow Mountain or Vinicunca in all its splendor, if the weather permits and the snowy Ausangate.
In the Mountain of Colors of Winicunca or Vinicunca, our guide will explain us about the orography, ecosystem and the reason for the colors of the mountain, and we will also take pictures.
Then we return optionally by the viewpoint of the Red Valley, Red Mountains, walk on this ecosystem considered Andean desert. From there we can have a last view of the 7-color mountain or Vinicunca or return by the same route of ascent.
Finally, we arrive at the place where we started the hike (Llaqto) from where our transportation takes us to the restaurant for our delicious Novo Andina buffet lunch. We return to the town of Puma.
