Cusco | Soraypampa - Humantay Lagoon
In the morning you will be picked up from your respective hotel between 4:15 am to 4:30 am, to make our trip to the town of Mollepata, where we will enjoy a typical breakfast of the area.
Then we board the car again to continue our trip to the Humantay lagoon and thus be able to observe the beautiful landscapes and gorges that surround us until we reach Soraypampa, where our hike to the Turquesa lagoon begins.
Here our specialized guide will give us enough time to prepare our equipment such as walking sticks, water, personal backpacks, etc.
We will begin our hike to the Humantay lagoon, our ascent will last about an hour and a half until we reach our destination.
Arriving at this beautiful picturesque lagoon of Humantay, we will have all the necessary time to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds it and also fill us with the energy that has this beautiful mountain of Salkantay.
Here our guide will tell us the history of the sacred lagoon, he will also make a demonstration of the use of the coca leaf and a small offering to our Apus (Mountains) that allowed us to arrive.
After all this beautiful adventure we have to return by the same route to our bus (Soraypampa). Afterwards we head to Mollepata where we will enjoy our lunch and then return to Cusco.
