Itinerary

The tour begins with the pick up from your hotel by a representative. We head to the southern part of the city Puma, on the way you can visualize the Andean landscape and the cultivation of Andean products. The first center to visit is the archaeological center of Tipon "Inca hydraulic wisdom". After visiting Tipon, we will visit the Pre Inca Urbanistic Complex of Piquillacta "City of Fleas". To finish our tour, we visit the church of San Pedro Apostle of Andahuaylillas, better known as the Sistine Chapel of America.

Tipón: It was a great space of impressive cultivation that contains 12 terraces on the slopes of the hill Pachatusan (Apu tutelary important in the Andean religiosity), contains terraces that are currently preserved intangible, its walls were built with finely carved stones but even more impressive is its irrigation system.

Pikillaqta: It presents characteristics of a large urban center corresponding to the time of development of the Wari empire with more than a thousand buildings including squares, colcas (food deposits), courts or houses, temples, long and narrow streets with buildings that were up to 4 stories high.

Andahuaylillas: Typical Andean village of the time of the colony of unique origin and architecture. Highlights in Andahuaylillas its Catholic temple of the colonial era with a beautiful decoration and mural painting of the seventeenth and eighteenth century known as the Sistine Chapel of Cusco. On the way back we will pass through Saylla, a typical Cuzco village where you can enjoy the delicious pork rinds (optional).
