Cusco - Checacupe - Palccoyo Rainbow Mountains - The Forest of Rocks.

We leave towards the south of Cusco until we reach the district of Combapata for an hour and a half, on the way we make a short stop for breakfast and in Checacupe to appreciate the Inca suspension bridge and the colonial bridge. Then we continue our journey by an unpaved road on the edge of the Salka River for an hour and a half to reach the hiking point to observe the colorful mountains of Palccoyo located at 4 100 meters above sea level.

From there we start our walk at a brisk pace to the great forest of stones, from this place we can appreciate in all its splendor to the three mountains of colors of Palccoyo and the snowy Ausangate, will be rewarded by unforgettable moments and wonderful scenery.

Then we return downhill to our transport to go to the place where we will enjoy our delicious lunch and on the way we will see native camelados in beautiful landscapes.
