Tour to the floating island of Uros and Taquile Island.
In this excursion we visit two islands in the highest navigable lake in the world:
The Artificial and floating islands of the Uros, located 7 kilometers from the city of Puno, where we know the way of life of the inhabitants and Taquile Island 30 km from the city of Puno, where the villagers still retain their cultural patterns in their costumes and dances. Considered by UNESCO, "cultural heritage of humanity".

Itinerary
Puno - Uros Floating Islands - Taquile Island - Puno.
We leave our hotel to the port or dock of Puno to board our boat that will take us to the floating islands of the Uros.
When we arrive to the floating islands, the local people will show us their real ancestral activities for an hour. Then we depart to the island of Taquile, once there we disembark at the port to start with the walk on the island observing their crops and their way of life until we reach a family house where we will have lunch with a panoramic view of the lake.
Finally, we descend to the port to take our boat that will take us back to Puno.
Schedule:
- Lancha normal (07:00 am - 17:00 pm).
- Lancha veloz (07:30 am - 15:45 pm).
- Feeding: Lunch at the family's home.
