Upon arrival to the city of Puma, we will be waiting for you at the airport to drive you to the hotel. You will be offered Coca tea to help you adapt to the altitude of Cusco.
In the afternoon you will be picked up from your hotel. You will have a guided tour, where we visit Qoricancha- the Golden Temple of the Sun, and then go out to the surroundings to visit the archaeological centers of Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay.
This tour begins with the pick up from the respective hotel. We start the tour to Pisac, on the way we make a brief stop to have a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. From there we continue to visit the typical market of Pisac and its archaeological complex of Intihuatana.
Then we go to the city of Urubamba where we will have a buffet lunch, then we continue our journey to visit the living museum city of Ollantaytambo and finally head to the train station of Ollantaytambo and continue our journey to the town of Aguas Calientes.
Tour to the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
After our breakfast we go to the bus stop where we board one of the first buses that leaves from 5:30 am. bound for Machu Picchu (30 min. trip approx.).
Depending on the weather conditions we can appreciate the sunrise in Machu Picchu, we will have a guided tour in the Inca citadel for 2 hours and a half approximately.
During the visit we will visit the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Sundial, the Inca Nobility Quarter, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries.
After the guided tour you will have some free time in Machu Picchu to walk around on your own to take pictures and enjoy Machu Picchu to the fullest. Then we go down to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we have lunch and then we can enjoy the thermal baths (optional). In the afternoon we board the train that takes us to Ollantaytambo station, where our transportation will be waiting to drive us back to the city of Cusco.
Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel to make the trip to Arco Iris Mountain. We will travel approx. 3 to 4 hours in our tourist transport, first we pass through the village of Checacupe, and then continue to Pitumarka where we will have our delicious breakfast, and then we arrive to Quechuyno / Pampachiri, place where we will start the hike after a brief talk, we begin our hike at the foot of the snowy Ausangate, a climb of approximately 3 hours to the highest point of Cerro Colorado (5100 m asl. During this journey we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids, arriving at the Cerro Colorado, we will have time to take pictures of this natural wonder. Afterwards, we return with our 3 hour hike down to the starting point of the trek (Quechuyno / Pampachiri), then we return to Pitumarka where we will have lunch, finally we return to Cusco.
According to the coordinated time or your flight schedule, we will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the airport.
