Salar de Uyuni, Coquesa Mummies and the Thunupa Volcano Viewpoint
2 days

In this program we visit Uyuni salt flat and Tunupa volcano. The Tunupa volcano is a dormant volcano in Bolivia, located between the northern edge of the Uyuni salt flat and the Coipasa salt flat, this volcano has a height of 5,432 meters above sea level. It is named after the god of thunder and lightning Tunupa. In the Andean culture it is considered a sacred mountain or mallku.

In the Tunupa volcano we can enjoy beautiful contrasts where the blue, red, violet and yellow colors are mixed and giving different tones to the environment, due to the great geological upheavals. Climbing to the crater we can observe a beautiful view of the entire salt flat and even more beautiful waiting for the sunset.
