Colca Canyon in Arequipa

Reception at the Rodriguez Ballon Airport in Arequipa and transfer to your chosen hotel.

In the afternoon, we visit the famous "White City", a charming miniature city of the sixteenth century that mimics the styles of the different Spanish cities of that time, its Plaza de Armas, the Convent of Santa Catalina, the Church of the Company of Christ.

After this, we visit the traditional districts of Cayma and Yanahuara that have a viewpoint and a beautiful church.

We leave for the Colca Valley, passing through the foothills of Chanchani volcano, during our journey we will observe beautiful landscapes such as snow-capped peaks and the national reserve of Vicuñas Pampa Cañahuas. Then we continue our journey until we reach the main town of the valley, Chivay, where we will have lunch and spend the night.

Our day starts very early, we leave in the direction of the Cruz del Condor viewpoint, a place where you can appreciate the depth of one of the deepest canyons in the world and the flight of the condors.

If the conditions are right, you may have the opportunity to take spectacular pictures of the majestic condor, the largest bird and sacred bird of the Incas.

After enjoying the Canyon we continue our journey to the town of Yanque, where we will be able to experience some local folklore, and visit the villages of Pinchollo and Maca to again observe the Colca Valley, then we have lunch at a local restaurant to finally return to the city of Arequipa.
