Itinerary

We leave Cusco early in the morning towards the Inca site of Tambomachay, where our adventure will begin, we will hike for 5 hours to where we will have lunch next to the beautiful lagoon of Ccomerqocha.

On our route to the archaeological complex of Huchuy Qosqo we pass Andean villages like Puka Llacta, from our highest pass of our route we will have beautiful views of the snowy peaks of Veronica, Pitusiray, Chicon and San Juan over five thousand meters high, from there we descend with views towards the sacred valley of the Incas until we arrive to Huchuy Qosqo.

  • Schedule: 06:00 - 18:00 hours.
  • Camp: Huchuy Qosqo.
  • Feeding: Lunch and Dinner.

After our breakfast, we visit the archaeological complex of Huchuy Qosqo for approximately three hours, and then descend to the village of Lamay in the sacred valley for approximately three hours, where our transportation awaits us to take us to Ollantaytambo.

From Ollantaytambo we make our trip on a scenic train to Aguas Calientes and after settling into a hotel, you can enjoy the hot springs if you have time before your dinner.

  • Accommodation: Hotel in Aguas Calientes.
  • Feeding: breakfast and lunch.

We take the bus at 5:30 am or according to the time of entry to Machu Picchu, we left for one of the wonders of the world, to see the magnificent sunrise. Once there, we visit Machu Picchu for two 2 hours approximately on foot through the main places of this Inca site.

After the guided tour you will have some free time in Machu Picchu to explore on your own, to take pictures and enjoy Machu Picchu to the fullest.

If you chose to do the excursion to Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain you will enter in the second shift at 10:00 am.

Then we go down to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we have lunch and then board the train that takes us to the station of Ollantaytambo or Poroy, where our mobility will be waiting to drive us back to the city of Cusco.

  • Schedule: 05:30 - 20:00.
