Itinerary

Upon arrival at the airport to the city of Cusco, we will be waiting for you to go to our chosen hotel and at the hotel reception, we offer coca tea to avoid altitude sickness.

In the afternoon we will make the Cusco City Tour. The tour begins with a visit to the Cathedral (Kiswarkancha Palace of the Inca Wiracocha), then we go down the Inti Killu or Loreto Street, to visit the golden temple of Qorikancha. Finally we will visit the surroundings of Cusco: Sacsayhuaman with its colossal constructions, Qenqo to visit its labyrinths in the form of Amarus (snakes), Pukapukara (the red fortress) and Tambomachay or baths of the Inca.

The tour begins with the pick up from your hotel. On your way to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we make a brief stop to have a panoramic view of the Inca citadel of Pisac and its typical market, where we will have the opportunity to learn about the customs of its inhabitants.

Visit to the archaeological complex of Pisac "Ciudad Perdiz" and its typical traditional market where you will have the opportunity to see the handicrafts made by the villagers themselves.

Then we head to the city of Urubamba, traveling along the banks of the river Wilcamayu "Sacred River of the Incas" where we will enjoy a delicious lunch.

Then we go to the living museum city of Ollantaytambo, the only place that preserves its ancient Inca urban design. Then we will visit the Ollantaytambo Citadel. Finally we go to the train station to board our train to Aguas Calientes.

In the morning we go to the bus stop where we board one of the first buses to Machu-Picchu (approx. 20 min. trip to Machu-Picchu).

If you leave very early, you will have the possibility to appreciate the sunrise in Machu Picchu (highly recommended), you will have a guided tour in the Inca citadel for 2 hours and a half approximately.

After the guided tour you will have some free time in Machu Picchu to walk around on your own to take pictures and enjoy Machu Picchu to the fullest, then you will have to take the bus down to Aguas Calientes and have lunch.

Then we board the train back to the town of Ollantaytambo, from where we are picked up to transfer to Cusco.

The time indicated for the transfer to the airport or bus station, in the case of flight, be two hours before we will pick you up to transfer you to the airport, until there we will accompany you.
